Meet Marina

Hi, I’m Marina — a registered dietitian turned spiritual coach.

For the past nine years, I’ve served as a dietitian in a small hospital on Long Island, New York. While that work taught me so much, I always sensed something was missing. Healing, I discovered, is never just about what you eat or how you move. It’s about the whole person — body, mind, and soul.

Over ten years ago, I walked through my own disordered relationship with food and exercise. I know what it feels like to live in “food prison,” searching for willpower and the perfect plan. That search led me into the field of nutrition — but my freedom came only when I let go of the rules and began truly listening to my body.

As I rebuilt trust, I learned to treat my body with kindness and respect. My healthiest, most vibrant self emerged naturally — through grace, not control. My spiritual practice gave me the missing piece: connection to an inner wisdom that never wavers, even when life changes.

Now, I guide women back to their own deep knowing so they can feel nourished, balanced, and fully at home in their bodies.

If you’re ready to heal your relationship with food and your body—and reconnect with the soul-deep wisdom that’s always been yours—I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Fun facts about me

  • I’m a mom of two beautiful children— I always believed it was my life’s purpose to be a mom. Turns out I have more work to do!

  • I come from a Croatian heritage and grew up a part of a Croatian/American Catholic Church community (I danced Croatian folk dance until I was 21!).

  • I’ve maintained the same weight (give or take a few pounds- mild fluctuation is normal!) for over 10 years after making peace with food (yes, before & after 2 pregnancies)—body trust works!

  • My favorite food is tacos/taco meat because it’s super simple and can be created into anything! (Taco salad, taco bowl, lettuce cups or just straight tacos…whichever mood strikes!)

  • I hate wasting food!! My grandparents lived with my family for the majority of my childhood/young adulthood (they were refugees from Bosnia). My grandmother always thanked God for the food we had and made a point not to waste it (lots of repurposed leftovers!!).

  • I LOVE walking—it is my most meditative practice. Would you be open to a walk and talk with me??
